The Final Leg Home
Many years ago this used to be the best kept secret for approaching Silicon Valley from I-5 but as you can see from the vehicles in front of us and in the rearview mirror the secret has been let out of the bag. Still, if you are approaching San Francisco or San Jose from Southern California via I-5 you should take the 152 cutoff before the I-580 interchange. This is a nice scenic route over Pacheco Pass and through the agricultural area surrounding Gilroy and Holister.
