Gas in Death Valley
The price of gas as you headed into Death Valley was understandably high. (When I took this picture gas at home was going for $1.55 per gallon) Fuel opportunities are extremely few and far between. You can see the desolation in this picture, and Death Valley is on the other side of the mountain range in the background.
